I had a phone call Monday, June 17th, 2002 from a man who said he is a lawyer for Poulsbo RV.  I told him that any dialogue regarding Poulsbo RV would have to be in writing. I didn't catch his name.

I got this letter almost a month later.

Desperate lawyers are a barrel of laughsShe's just a fun-lovin' thing!

Brand new lawyer, same old orders - "Threaten 'em. Try to scare 'em. Ignore the facts."

The facts are:

Poulsbo RV knowingly sold us a defective motorhome.

Poulsbo RV salesperson Cheryl Gerry lied to us to make the sale.

Poulsbo RV service manager Larry McAmis lied to us after the sale.

Poulsbo RV general manager Jim Elliott lied to the Washington State Attorney General's Office about us.

Poulsbo RV internet sales manager Carl Hultenberg continues the grand Poulsbo RV tradition of lying to customers.

My reply to the lawyer follows:

Re: your letter dated July 11, 2002

Dear Ms. Gorman:

There are no false statements on my websites. The same cannot be said about
your letter.

Your letter states that Poulsbo RV has written to us several times. That is a false
statement. Or are you referring to multiple communications from a lawyer hired by
Poulsbo RV during Poulsbo RV’s previous attempt to intimidate us?

Your letter further states that I demanded, during a June 17, 2002 telephone call
initiated by your firm, that any offer from Poulsbo RV be in writing. That is another
false statement. No “offer that Poulsbo wished to make” (your words) was mentioned by
either the caller or me. The caller said he was hired by Poulsbo RV to ask me what I
want. My only reply to him was that any dialogue regarding Poulsbo RV would have to
be in writing. He said he would “tell the company” and get back to me. He verified my
address. The conversation ended.

Finally, your attempt to call my warning to prospective customers of Poulsbo RV
an admission or a concession is laughable.

You called me. What do you want?

                                                                Sincerely,

                                                                Richard A. Ellingson

The lawyer got my letter July 19th and took two months to reply. His letter to me was delayed because he misaddressed it. You may read what he wrote here.
